(AI) Robots Will Never be Sentient
The best answer (AI) robots will ever have is 42*.

Technology is a force multiplier used in the application of the psyop.
(AI) robots (currently) sit at the pinnacle of the technology.
Stop using the term AI. Call these things what they are: robots.
"Intelligence" is a noun. "Artificial" is an adjective.
"Intelligence" is an attribute only properly applied to sentient life.
These robots are nothing more than non-human, amoral, goal-seeking machines programmed by humans that process information very quickly.
Eventually, those interested in controlling the language will drop the adjective. There is a lot of linguistic trickery programmed into these robots to convince humans that the robots can be companions and friends. A machine can never be a friend.
Stop seeing what you know, start knowing what you see.
